Singing Sand Caravan is hosting it's first events! This event consists of two parts, a beauty pageant and a race. You do not have to enter both parts, you can enter one or the other, so only a total of 1 picture are required for this event. Though if you enter both, please note that two pictures are required. Extra pictures are not required, but could lend you enough points to turn the tides of this event in your favor.
Kaylee's yurt isn't big enough to let other people stay in, so expect to be camping! Either bring your own tent, or stay in a hotel in a nearby town. Also, word of this event has spread, and many onlookers have arrived to watch, some have even brought food carts to feed the masses. You may bring along a dog, if it is well controlled.
Please note that this is an event for Dromedaries.

If you would like to participate in the race, but do not own a camel, you may rent one from the Singing Sand Caravan! Since we will not be entering, almost all of our camels are open!

Welcome to Singing Sand Caravan! Our mission here is to breed and raise well-behaved, prize winning dromedary camels that excel at a wide range of activities. We also hope to branch into fiber and dairy production!

While we do have a location in California that we use during the winter and other extreme times, Kaylee likes the nomadic life. She takes her whole caravan along with her on lengthy camping trips on public lands and land owned by friends and other contacts. This said, she is rarely at the California location, which makes sending her mail just about useless. She can be reached via email, however.

We do shows and apperances to make ends meet, as well as finding loop holes that allow us to trade off camel's milk for supplies.

If you're ever driving along and pass a camel train led by a woman atop a white camel, chances are you've stumbled upon the Singing Sand Caravan!

We are registered with :iconc-a-da:, :iconkennel-club:, and :icondarpg-club:

Singing Sand Caravan Dogs:
Here at Singing Sand Caravan, our breed of choice is the Central Asian Ovtcharka.
Since camels are our true focus, we will only ever have a few dogs, probably less than five. They will be working dog, trained to guard the caravan from intruders of all kinds, both animal and human. We do not keep aggressive animals, but we do like them to have a certain presence. We breed for conformation and strength, but most important is how willing the dog is to protect against aggressive threats.

Breeding Info Breedings at this time are: :bulletred:Closed:bulletred:
These are my rules when it comes to breeding.
:bulletblack: I can decline any breeding for any reason. That's it. Done. No more.
:bulletblack: No inbreeding. The last thing we need is a camel with five legs. =D
:bulletblack: We breed only to realistics. No sparkle-anything.
:bulletblack: If you requested the breeding, you must supply the breeding picture. YOU must draw the picture, no photomanipulation and no premade lineart.
:bulletblack: Sold animals must retain the prefix 'SSC' before their name.
:bulletblack: Credit me with the design if I made it.
:bulletblack: I can draw the offspring, or you may request doing so. In the case of dogs, if the litter is large, I have the right to pick one puppy to keep.
:bulletblack: I will not breed dogs unless they have titles. This is to prevent people from inactive kennels from creating puppies for profit.

I will NEVER breed to or give puppies to:
